About Us

The Nana Sahab Development Society (NSDS) is an independent, non-partisan and a not-for-profit civil society; it was established by a group of scholars and practitioners from diverse  backgrounds  ranging  from  politics  to  media  and  academia  to  writers  and intellectuals.  NSDS  is  an  independent  think-tank  that  works  for  strengthening  the political and civil society based on principles of democracy, freedom, secularism and social justice,  issues of peace, areas of special sectoral focus include promotion of peace and tolerance, rule of law, transparency and access to information and development. NSDS works with political parties, youth, women, minorities, mass media and other non- governmental institutions. NSDS has placed a unique example of creativity, credibility and commitment through civic courage, transparent practices and highest professional standards.   It seeks to inform and influence public policies and civil society initiatives through research-based advocacy and capacity building in order to promote citizenship, build peace and achieve inclusive and sustainable development, rule of law, transparency and access to information, budget watch, legislative watch and Development.

NSDS is RDP graduate by SAP Pk: Capacity Building Program

While NSDS became RDP graduate, it started working for community development on sustainable basis. The participatory approach start here for the target people after having understanding with the issues, system and gaps we started working on specific goals and objectives with a clear vision.
